EASYDAY ENDURANCE LABS ("Easyday Labs") is Easyday's experimental product label dedicated to designing, testing, and responsibly manufacturing innovative, superior quality performance apparel + accessories for the competitive endurance athlete.
Mission
Easyday Labs is the place where we make the stuff we wish we had.
Our mission is to bring you uniquely experimental, intentional, functional and long-lasting performance products that we've road- and trail-tested with our friends and families, use ourselves, and manufacture with a commitment to total transparency x relentless progress so you can believe in the brand you're repping.
Principles
Our design x development engine is geared around the following:
-----
1. QUALITY
Quality is everything.
We believe the future of capitalism + human health lies in consuming fewer, better things.
This includes technical apparel + accessories that are thoughtfully engineered, supremely functional, timeless in their look and feel, comfortable, hard-wearing, and repairable / recyclable at the end of their life.
-----
2. PERFORMANCE
We make performance tools, not fashion statements.
Every Easyday Labs item is purpose-built by an athlete, for an athlete, with a specific use case in mind for which we think it's the best thing out there. If that's not true we don't put it out.
-----
3. ETHICS
At the end of the day we're in business to produce one "product": the wellbeing + potential of our customers, employees, and supply chain workers, holistically defined.
This starts with designing goods that allow you to go further, move freer, and live more. It extends to our long-term corporate commitments to (1) 100% supply chain transparency, (2) increased materials circularity, sustainable manufacturing and carbon neutral shipping + packaging, and (3) advocacy + community impact, which are total. And it means doing it all with old school values, hard work, integrity, and care.
-----
4. HUMANITY
Think about the feeling you get when you buy produce from a local grower at a Farmers Market vs. hitting 'Buy Now' on a box of groceries from Amazon. It floods your brain with two entirely different sets of chemicals.
When we think about buying an Easyday Labs product that started with a hand-drawn sketch in Salt Lake City, unboxing it with a note from our team member who packed it ("thanks for helping us pay rent!"), throwing it on for the first time and stepping out the door for a run...we really want it to feel more like the first example above than the second.
-----
5. VALUE
Our customers pay us for quality, performance, ethics, and humanity -- not "luxury".
As a universal rule, we set prices to the minimum we can afford to charge based on an item's direct design, materials and production costs (not the maximum we can convince our customers to pay based on marketing). As we grow as a company, our constant goal is to drive our quality higher and our prices lower (not the other way around).
