Tips & Care
The First Burn
- The first burn is the most important. Make sure the melt pool reaches all sides of the candle before extinguishing otherwise tunneling can occur.
Subsequent Burns
- Try to make a habit of letting the melt pool always reach the sides of the candle to ensure you capture the candles whole potential. Never exceed 4 hours of burning.
Trim Yo' Wicks
- Always trim your wicks to 1/4" before every burn so that the candle does not burn faster than it should.
Candles to Cocktails
- All of Ranger Station's 8 oz glass candles are hand poured into cocktail glasses. Here's how to transform them.
- Place candle in freezer overnight.
- Run hot tap water over wax to loosen and then remove with wooden utensil.
- Remove wick tabs from base of glass (they may have come out with the wax already). If they do not remove easily, fill the glass with warm water and dish soap and let them soak.
- Clean out glass with soap and water.
- Pour your drink of choice and say 'cheers'

About the Makers
Steve and Jordan Soderholm first crossed paths as undergrads at Belmont University in Nashville.
By 2015, they were dating and pursuing respective careers in music and fashion when Steve hand-poured his first candle in a spare cocktail glass in the garage of a refurbished park ranger station he + his bandmates were renting outside of Nash.
Fast forward to today, and they're the husband-wife team behind Ranger Station, Nashville's hottest fragrance house with a growing reputation for their creative Americana scents, honest ingredients, and the same signature cocktail glasses that started it all.
All that's to say, it doesn't get more real, more indie, or more Nashville than Ranger Station. I first met Steve & Jordan in 2023 while living in Nash and it's been my goal since then to make an RS x Easyday collection a reality. Pumped to have them. -Nate
