The Pheidippides are our OG women's distance short designed for speed and comfort during hot & heavy training blocks and long days out.
They're durably constructed from our AirForce fabric, which is an awesomely lightweight (70 gsm...55% lighter than Tracksmith's most popular shorts, as a reference) and fast-drying blend with high sustainability marks and a luxuriously soft handfeel.
They're cut to a 3" inseam with a hi-rise waist that looks great and doesn't ride up. The side panels split all the way up the hip to maximize airflow and range of motion while overlapping at the top for some coverage.
Rounding out the performance features are two elastic slits on the front waistband ideal for stuffing trail nutrition, trash, or headphones, and our low profile OnLock pocket on the center back that snuggly fits an iPhone 16 Plus without bouncing all over the place. The classy, gradient-color wordmark on the back pocket and 3-bolt logo on the upper left hip feature a reflective matte finish to provide you a bit of extra visibility on late nights and early mornings out.

We made it a priority to address that here with a no-bounce pocket cut into the back waistband: just big enough to fit a phone when you need it and totally forgettable when you don't
